As a young teenager I discovered I had a knack for "doing hair". To explore and challenge myself, I competed in local, provincial, and even national beauty pageants. I did my own hair and make up while competing against girls with a look created by professional stylists from local Salons. Contestants as they returned, would often ask me to touch up or completely rework their makeup and hair. This I enjoyed even more than the competition itself.
I attended the University of Victoria and later went on to attend Humber in Toronto for Vocal Jazz. Over time I just knew I had follow my creative vibe into hair design. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Victoria at the top of the class and soon rose to the position of Senior Stylist at Fish. To stay current I've attended various classes in Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York to improve and perfect my cutting and color skills and additionally stay ahead of the fashion curve.
I have always had drive and motivation but now I'm really following my passion and doing what I love.
I have been a client of Christina's for more than two years, and I can't count the number of times that people have asked me, "Who cuts your hair?"
The first thing I asked Christina to do was to dye my hair blue and yellow on live television! It was a strange request. As a Sports Broadcaster for CTV - I had the
honor of being selected to ride 1100 kilometers down Vancouver Island on a bike as a member of the 2010 Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock team. To support the cause, I asked
Christina to dye my hair the Canadian Cancer society colors. She jumped to the challenge. Many on the riders were shaving their heads for the cause, I decided to do the
same. When we hit the finish line in Victoria, Christina was waiting there, with shears in hand, to shave my head - again live on television. She was instrumental in
helping me achieve my personal fundraising goals. Little did Christina know, her challenge was only beginning. Anyone who has ever had short hair knows, the issues that
come with growing it out. Christina has been reinvented my look ever since the head shave. From a platinum blonde, fo-hawk rockin sports reporter, to the dark pixie I'm
sporting now - we go through the "growing process" together. Christina is creative, inventive and incredibly motivated. I have recommended many people to Christina,
who is not only my hair stylist, but also become a very good friend.
CTV Vancouver Island
As a bridal makeup artist in the Victoria market, I've had the pleasure of working with many of the city's talented hair stylists, but none as gifted as Christina

make hours in Christina's chair pass by like minutes. I trust all of my family, friends and clients in the hands of Salon C, they (and I) have always been thrilled and never

A Story of a Broken Blonde...
I once had a hair experience go so horrifically bad that it took much of Christina's time and patience (I had much anxiety when getting my hair done) to bring it back to repair. Thank goodness for an encounter with her via a mutual friend for us to meet and for her to accept the challenge of my damaged mane. Christina is knowledgeable, experienced, and so positive that I couldn't help but feel like I was in great hands. Salon C is an intimate and attentive environment that I always feel fabulous walking out of its doors. I can't thank you enough for everything Christina, I'm truly blessed to have you as my friend and super stylist!!
I wanted to surprise my best friend and get her hair done for her! She'd been so busy with school and work that she hadn't had time. I called her usual places and
couldn't get her an appointment. I heard great things about Salon C from a friend and so I gave her a call! My friend is thrilled with the results! Christina was so
accommodating, friendly and professional. She fit my friend in last minute and went over and above for us. I, my friend and her sister will definitely be back! :)
Honestly, I can't believe the masterpiece you created with what little hair I had. It was perfect!!! Thank you sooo very much!!!!
I always feel welcome and at home at Salon C! Christina's warm and friendly attitude creates a feeling of comfort immediately. She has an amazing talent of taking into
account exactly what I want my hair to look like and tweaking it with subtle suggestions to create a masterpiece everytime!! I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else! Thank
you Christina for making me look and feel beautiful every time I come into the salon!
